Yes, it’s possible. A drink which will give you a pick-me-up at any time of day, without being filled full of sugar and a huge caffeine hit. Little Miracles are aptly named, and are filled with organic tea, fruit juice, acai berries, and panex ginseng (in it’s purest form). And they only contain 90 calories per bottle!
I’m going to take time to describe some of the benefits of the two key ingredients, you’ll find in almost every bottle, so you can see just how good they are for your health and well-being.
The key ingredient in each and every flavour, is 6 year old Panax Ginseng. It’s been used in Chinese Medicine for countless years and has many benefits. In the West, it’s thought of as a stimulant, yet in Chinese medicine it’s often used as a calming herb. It’s a great tonic for boosting the immune system, and helping with depression and anxiety. A general aid for stress and well-being.
A vital player in each flavour also, this tiny berry is on a mission to prove that good things come in small packages. Nothing else holds as many active antioxidants and provide an energising boost. Packed with iron, calcium, fibre and vitamin A, they are true powerhouses.
Now onto the taste! Each and every one of the four blends have a unique flavour. They are all tasty and refreshing.
I had the lovely Lemongrass Tea & Ginseng with a healthy, beany lunch. Lemongrass is great for digestion, and went down a treat with my meal. There’s also a touch of orange juice and ginger, for vitamin C boost and antioxidant goodness. Ginger is also thought to have an anti-inflammatory effect. This would also be fantastic on warm, summer day. Really one to lift the spirits and refresh.
The Green Tea & Pomegranate is great for a boost. Full of the antioxidants contain in both acai and the green tea itself, it’s the perfect pick-me-up. Pomegranate is also a great source of vitamin C and B5. I loved the sweetness of the pomegranate combined with the tea flavour. It was rich and satisfying. Reviving and refreshing.
The Black Tea & Peach was a great combination of sweet and dry. It really hits home if you want that true iced tea flavour (obviously served straight from the fridge).
However, my absolute favourite and one which I’m completely hooked on now is the outstanding White Tea & Cherry.
Filled with the goodness of ginseng and acai, the cherry adds a delightfully sweet and refreshing flavour. White Tea has very little processing and therefore retains full nutritional benefits, including antibacterial and antiviral properties and a booster for the immune and circulatory systems.
I was given these products for free by Little Miracles, for the purposes of this post. However, I truly do love them and all views are my own. If you haven’t tried them, treat yourself and let me know what you think!
Have a wonderful week!
