Isle of Wolf… Bring a Touch of Christmas into your Home.

On the brink of December, I feel it’s about time for my first Christmas post of the year. It’s cold and windy outside, decorations are beginning to go up all around, and the shops are full of festive delights.

As well as decorating our home, I like to give it a Christmassy smell too – and not just the waft of freshly cooked chestnuts, and a nut-roast cooking in the oven, I’m talking about the gorgeous spices and rich scents that bring Christmas in your mind as soon as you take a deep breath.

Cinnamon is one of my all time favourites, and it’s definitely not reserved only for Christmas. However, it’s a very warming and comforting scent, and it really makes or a cosy evening in. It adds that little bit of warmth and Christmas atmosphere.

As you may well know by now, everything we use is environmentally friendly, natural and cruelty free. Therefore an artificially scented candle made with toxin-emitting paraffin wax is definitely not going to make it over the threshold of our front door!

Thanks to MyPure, these gorgeous Isle of Wolf Cinnamon Spice candles are easy to get hold of. At £15 it may seem expensive, but it will fill your home with the scents of cinnamon, clove, cardamom and orange for an amazing 40 hours – soy wax candles burn for longer than regular candles.

The beautful glass holder will look great in any room in the house, and I love the heatproof coaster layer at the base – such a great idea!  I found the scent delicate but long lasting. It won’t suffocate you with a perfumey smell, but you will be aware of the fragrance.

I can’t recommend this candle enough – and there are several other scents in the range. If you’re looking to enhance that Christmas ambience in your own home, or searching for the perfect gift for a friend or loved-one, this is a great present for anyone.

Thanks for reading – have a wonderful day!
