Good Carma Vegan ‘Parmesan’

I love it when the name of a product range just rings true. Good Carma really says it all for me – the dairy industry is seriously cruel, and there’s definitely good karma to be had for choosing this lovely range of parmesan alternatives, and saving the suffering.

The first thing I noticed when looking at the ingredients listings was that these ‘cheeses’ are really natural and contain the simplest, purest ingredients – a lovely blend of Himalayan pink salt (loads of health benefits), nutritional yeast flakes (a good source of vitamin B12) and ground almonds (full of healthy fats and protein).

There are three flavours in the range – Garlic, Chilli and Original. The flavourings for the garlic and chilli options are completely natural and give a lovely little flavour kick.

The garlic and original were our topping of choice on our vegan spag-bol.  It was an absolutely fantastic substitute, and though I’m well used to using nutritional yeast for a ‘cheesy’ flavour, the almonds and flavourings just adding that something special. The chilli flavour worked really well on a tomato, mushroom pasta dish we made. Absolutely delicious and really quite a spice hit!

They come in really handy shaker containers, and they don’t clog up in the bottom. Easy to shake, any-time!

You can find Good Carma ‘cheeses’ in some Waitrose stores and many health food shops, as well as online with a fantastic 20% discount!

This review has been organised by the VEGAN Lifestyle ASSOCIATION. It has not been paid for and the products were sent free of charge. This is my genuine and unbiased review of the product.
