I’ve written many times about Madara products over the past year or so. Each and every time I try something new from them, I’m always impressed with the quality and the gentle effectiveness. My skin is always left in better condition, and I’ve never had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients.
The balancing toner I tried this month is no exception. It contains the astringent witch hazel, yet does not dry the skin. Combined with soothing chamomile, and balancing raspberry, it softens the skin and leaves it feeling gently refreshed and nourished. This balancing toner is a wonder for combination skin.
What’s the secret to Madara products being so effective? Well, not only do they contain 19% organic ingredients, they are also 99% natural. I’d say the huge factor is that everything used is grown in the rough climate of the Baltic, however, where plants need to evolve hardy survival mechanisms and therefore become packed full with nutrients and goodness. These wonderful properties then pass onto us when we use them on our skin.
This must give you an idea of how important it is to be very careful when choosing our beauty products. Not all are created equal. When we apply any product, our skin absorbs it. It goes into our bodies and cells. This is fantastic when using a natural, organic product like Madara, but imagine what happens if you use something full of artificial chemicals, toxic and/or carcinogenic. Your skin doesn’t magically produce a shield against the meanies – it lets them all in. Worth thinking about when you compare the prices. I’d much rather pay £12 for something that’s going to nourish my skin, than £1 for something which could be gradually harming me.
You can buy this lovely toner, along with the comforting (dry skin) and clarifying (blemish prone skin) options in the range from the MyPure website. A wonderful addition to my skincare routine.
As always with all the products I use, this toner is cruelty free and vegan.
