When I received my delivery of samples from Mighty Bee, I didn’t realise I was about to embark on the most amazing taste sensation I’d ever known with a few bottles of coconut water! Seriously, this amazing virgin coconut water tastes unlike any of the other types you’ve ever tasted.
The secret to the slightly nutty, fresh and vibrant flavours? Well, there’s never any heating involved, so they are totally unprocessed, cold pressed and essentially raw. It goes from tree to bottle in just 24 hours! It’s therefore packed with B vitamins, amino acids and essential minerals. Wow! It takes me almost 24 hours to travel across London and back on some days (excuse my slight exaggeration, I had a few delays on my way to work this morning)!
I suspect the other key to the amazing taste is the fact that these young, Thai coconuts are grown in 100% organic conditions, and picked at just the right time to capture the perfect sweetness.
Mighty Bee have three lovely principles – Bee Honest, Bee Caring & Bee Peaceful. These principles ensure that all farming practices are sustainable, there are only natural ingredients used, with no added nasties, and they are fully supportive of the communities and farmers who grow and harvest.
The joy doesn’t end with the coconut water either – the fresh and juicy coconut meat is also available from Mighty Bee. Packed with more minerals and fatty acids than you can shake a stick at, it’s also the most delicious thing ever. I’ve added lots of it to smoothies, and it makes for such a rich and creamy taste. However, I quite often just grab a handful straight from the bag – pure goodness.
I’m extremely excited to learn that Mighty Bee have just launched a new range of coconut jerky products. I really can’t wait to get my hands on some of these!
Currently, you can get home delivery from the online store if you live within the M25 area of London. Otherwise, Mighty Bee products are available at Wholefoods and Barrecore.
