Defend Your Skin from the Elements!

We’re still at the time of year where temperatures are fluctuating between hot and cold. It’s cold in the mornings and evenings, and the heating is still on in many homes and indoor areas. This constant change from hot to cold can wreak havoc on your skin – I often get dry, scaly hands at this time of the year and a damn good hand cream is a life saver!

Madara’s Daily Defence Cream has proved to be somewhat of a wonder cream. Not just for the hands, this rich cream can be used all over the body, including the lips. As well as soothing rough, dry skin, it actually helps to protect the skin against the elements. We might not be expecting any Arctic conditions at this time of year, but if you’re going anywhere that is (perhaps the Arctic itself), then this is the tube you want to have in your suitcase! In fact, you’ll get it in your hand luggage, at a travel friendly size of 60ml. Having lived in Denmark for a couple of years, I’d definitely recommend taking this cream with you if visiting during the winter months.

MyPure kindly sent me a tube to try out, and I was expecting it to be a really greasy cream, which sat on the surface of the skin, however, I was pleasantly surprised. It soaked in really quickly and I hardly knew it was there. It offered almost instant relief to my sore hands, and the gorgeous smells of the Northern cloud-berry and sea buckthorn made me feel calm and relaxed. I’m not sure if this is intentional, or just a pleasant side effect of these vitamin rich, skin nourishing oils.

I’ve also found it a wonder for soothing sore feet after a long day. It’s really effective at softening hard skin on the base of my heels, and I will most definitely be buying another tube when this one runs out. At £15 for a 60ml tube, it can seem like a lot to spend, but a little goes a long way, and it’s worth every penny.

As with every product I review, Madara Daily Defence Cream is natural, vegan and cruelty free.

MyPure sent me this product free of charge, for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
