Clarify Your Skin Naturally with Madara

I’m a huge fan of toners – they provide a refreshing finish to your cleansing routine, and sweep off any final traces of make-up. A toner in the summer, mixed with a little water is also a wonderful way to keep fresh and cool. Getting the right toner, however, is the key to radiant skin. So many modern products which you’ll find lining the shelves of your local chemist or supermarket (and often with tempting £1 deals) are full of chemicals which dry your skin out too much, or leave your skin open to absorbing more chemicals (propylene glycol).

Natural toners are much better, as they contain much more calming ingredients, and Madara’s Clarifying Toner contains salicylic acid which is good for skin rejuvenation. It balances the skin instead of drying it out.

Madara

Madara’s Clarifying toner is a soothing combination of rose water, sweet flag, cucumber, oak bark extract and salvia leaf extract. Rose water helps to sooth red and inflamed skin and is great for those with senstive skin or acne; whilst sweet flag deeply tones and exfoliates. The cucumber, oak bark and salvia leaf all help to sooth and calm the skin, whilst the salicylic acid balances and rejuvenates. The pH of the skin will be naturally balanced, and blemishes reduced.

I was sent this toner to try for myself, from MyPure and I absolutely love it. My skin simply feels cleansed when I use it, and not dried out at all. It’s so lovely to use a toner which doesn’t immediately have you frantically grabbing for the moisturiser! I’ve found the condition of my skin has improved and it’s less oily during the day. Definitely one of the best toners I’ve used in a long time – and much more soothing than a splash of cold water.

A bargain at £12 a bottle, as a little goes a long way. It lasts even longer on my reusable make-up wipes, as they don’t soak it up as greedily as cotton wool.

Another wonderful Madara product!
