If you’re continuing your health kick into February and are looking for easy ways to give your smoothie a super nutrient boost, Indigo herbs have the answer and you have the chance to win a pack if you keep reading…
The superhero of the nutrient powders – packed with organic wheatgrass, barley, moringa, spirulina and chlorella to fuel your body with pure and natural goodness. You can add a boost to your smoothies, soups and even stews with this zingy powder. I’ve opted to mix it into an energy ball recipe and it creates the most delightful, rich snack which I’m rather addicted to now. Here’s the recipe for you to try…
Ingredients
150g Almonds
130g Dates
20g Dried Apricots
1.5 Tablespoons Cacao Powder
1 teaspoon SuperGreens Powder
Orange Peel/Natural Orange Flavouring
Cacao Nibs
—
Directions
Soak the almonds for at least an hour, preferably more.
Drain and rise nuts, then blend in food processor.
Add in the cacao and supergreens powders.
Add in the dates and blend.
Add in the orange zest/flavouring.
Roll into balls and pop in the fridge – they should be less sticky after a short time in the fridge. Admittedly these don’t look the most appetising treat in the world, but they taste amazing, so please forgive their appearance.
Of course, if you want to add it to a smoothie, simply pop in about a teaspoon full into your favourite smoothie recipe and be prepared for a super powered green smoothie. I’ve been using the powder in my morning smoothies for about a week now and I’ve really noticed an energy boost and clearer, brighter skin. To get used to the taste, you may wish to build up slowly to a teaspoon.
To be in with a chance of winning a pack of Super Greens powder from Indigo Herbs, all you have to do is like and comment on my pinned Facebook Post (look for the image above) and tell me why you’d like to win.
Competition open until 2pm Friday 16th February, when I will choose three winners at random.
Only one entry per person. UK entrants only.
Good luck and thank you for reading!
