Reduce Your Tea/Coffee Footprint

Welcome to Part 2 of my New Year’s Resolutions posts on reducing plastic waste.

Plastic is the most pervasive man-made material ever, throwing something away doesn’t really mean away; it’s still on Earth… just out of your sight – as is every piece of plastic ever made!

Net Zero Co are an online marketplace who have created a fantastic collection of eco-friendly and zero waste products to help inspire everyone to start – or continue – their journey of sustainability.

The one thing I find most challenging about keeping my waste down when buying hot drinks on the go, is the bulkiness of many travel mugs – it’s often not practical to have a large bag when travelling, or attending a festival and having something more manageable to take with you and keep in your bag is much more likely to help you keep on track with your principles.

No matter your reason for needing a hot drink on the go – be you a commuter, a busy parent, or an eco-conscious traveler, this amazing collapsible coffee cup provides a convenient way to enjoy your cup of tea or coffee, without having to fill your bag with a bulky mug. It’s a revolution!

Made from leak proof, food grade silicone (made from natural silica in sand) which is better for the environment and endures high temperatures without degradation. The average silicone made item will last many times longer than the same item made from plastic – meaning there’s less waste as worn out plastic gets disposed of.

Small and lightweight, it’s easy to pop out into a cup shape, so you can get your tea or coffee fix. No more non-recyclable throw away cups, no more bulky travel mugs in your handbag.

Net Zero Co have a huge range of fantastic products to help you reduce your waste even more – do head over to their website and check them out.

Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
